iOS 9 Supported devices (Compatibility list)


What devices are iOS 9 compatible? Is it worth it to install iOS 9 on iPhone 5? Here you can see iOS 9 Supported devices list. We have some recommendations for all who want install iOS 9 on our iPhones or iPads. If you are iPhone 5 owner you must read history about supported iPhone 4S via iOS 8. I think it's reality for all, who have iPhone 5, you can install new iOS 9, but you must understand that it's not very good for you. !!! Others devices list will be here.

      The iPod touch (5th Generation), iPod Nano (7th Generation), and iPod Shuffle are ALMOST obsolete or expire due to OLD versions & upgrade to new Apple Watch, instead merged to all iPhone models (5, 5C, 5S, 6, or 6 Plus which firmware is iOS 9) if possible....

    Do you mean, that IOS 9 is not going to run well on an ipad Mini 2 (A7 Chip / Retina)? The origina iPad Mini is off the list and will probably end at iOS 8.2

      Yes you can update your OS to 9. I updated my 4s to iOS 9 but I was not able to update my iPad 2 to iOS 9.

      I updated my iPhone 4s to iOS9 but I was not able to update my iPad 2 . When I try to update iPad 2 it says update requested . Is it problem with my iPad or it doesn't support ios9.

    i decided to upgrade my iPhone 5c which was was on ios 7 and just upgraded it to ios 9 and now something is wrong with my phone. Everything was done loading it asked me to put in my password and then it shut off and when it was back on it said slide to upgrade i tried about 10 times to slide and then had my sister try to do it and i cant restart my phone help!!!

    ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE A5 AND A6 DEVICES!!!!
    iOS 9 is supported for a5 and a6, so you can keep your a5 and a6 devices.
    All iOS 8 devices can run iOS 9, probably not iOS 10...

      Nop you will straight away have the ios9 update! All you have to do this;
      1.go to settings > General>software update > and your phone will check whether you have an update or not.
      You will have the update for sure!
      Them they'll ask you whether to download the update.click yes.and it will get downloaded and then install it!make sure you have your battery more than 50% or you'll have to plug it to your pc or to the charger!
      That's it!Enjoy ios 9
      You cannot update to ios 8 and then update to ios9
